8300.158 AXION

The Haws® 8300.158 AXION combined safety shower with an ABS plastic head drench shower and an eyewash with a stainless steel bowl. It is the optimal solution for many industrial applications and complies with the EN 15154 and ANSI Z358.1 standards.

The 8300-158 AXION® offers basic freeze protection for regions with infrequent, light sub-zero conditions. It features a freeze protection valve that allows water to drain once the temperature in the shower reaches freezing. This prevents the water from freezing without the need for full heating or draining. This solution is suitable for locations with temporary cold spells, where conventional safety showers could be at risk from freezing.

The 8300 AXION combination safety shower consists of an AXION® body shower and an AXION eyewash. The eyewash is activated by a push flag and reliably delivers a gentle stream of water to simultaneously rinse the eyes and face. The AXION nozzle of the body shower is activated by a pull rod and delivers a soft and homogeneous jet over the entire floor area. The unique AXION system avoids most of the problems that other systems have, to ensure safe first aid.

Features 8300.158 AXION

7431FP AXION

The self-draining, freeze-protected eyewash station 7431FP AXION remains fully operational even at temperatures below freezing and ensures quick first aid in an emergency. The freeze protection valve is installed below the frost line in the ground.

Activation is via a push flag that actuates the freeze protection valve.

The pedestal-mounted frost-proof eyewash features a corrosion-resistant stainless steel basin.

The patented AXION showerhead reliably delivers a standard-compliant water jet for efficient flushing of the eyes and face.

8300FP AXION – Emergency Freeze Protected Shower and Eyewash

The Haws freeze protected 8300FP AXION combines the use of an ABS showerhead and anti-surge Soft-Flo eyewash heads for the irrigation process. Emergency combination unit is equipped with an in-line 50 x 50 mesh water strainer and pop-off dust covers, so when debris is present, the irrigation process stays protected. Virtually eliminating mishaps, the unit’s safety features include: universal emergency sign, high visibility stripe, two labeled push plates, and two self-draining bleed valves to protect from internal freezing.

Certified by CSA to meet the ANSI Z358.1 Standard for Emergency Eyewash and Shower Equipment.

8327FP AXION – AXION® MSR Emergency Freeze Protected Shower and Eye/Face Wash with grate

Model 8327FP AXION combination shower and eye/face wash features the medically acclaimed AXION MSR eye/face wash head assembly (patent pending). This revolutionary inverted flow design is the only product on the market that provides a Medically Superior Response consistent with all EMT, emergency room and doctors’ office protocols by sweeping contaminants away from the vulnerable nasal cavity. Traditional eyewashes irrigate from the outside edge of the eye back toward the nose, where contaminants can then be flushed into the nasal cavity through the lacrimal punctum, nature’s ocular cavity drain.AXION MSR also offers a new hydrodynamic shower design that minimizes the strong physical pressure that drives the water to the outer rim of normal shower heads, making the distribution equal across the entire footprint of the flow. Better use of the water flowing through the shower makes it more effective while providing a more comfortable environment by breaking the streams of water into smaller individual droplets.

8317CTFP AXION – Freeze-Protected Safety Shower

Haws Model 8317CTFP AXION heat traced combination shower and eye/face wash features the medically acclaimed AXION MSR eye/face wash head assembly (patent pending). This revolutionary inverted flow design is the only product on the market that provides a Medically Superior Response consistent with all EMT, emergency room and doctors’ office protocols by sweeping contaminants away from the vulnerable nasal cavity. Better use of the water flowing through the shower makes it more effective while providing a more comfortable environment by breaking the streams of water into smaller individual droplets. Virtually eliminating mishaps, the unit’s safety features include: a thermal actuator bleed valve, 230V thermostat cable double wrapped piping, 1.9 cm insulation surrounding piping and outside jacket to prevent freezing, as well as a universal emergency sign.

Certified by CSA to meet the ANSI Z358.1 Standard for Emergency Eyewash and Shower Equipment. Model is CSA electrical certified, TYPE 4. (Nema 4 equivalent)
