The self-draining, freeze-protected combination unit 8300FP AXION remains fully operational even at sub-zero temperatures and guarantees fast, standard-compliant first aid in an emergency. The two buried freeze protection valves are installed below the frost line and reliably protect the pipes from freezing – without any power connection.
The body and eye showers are each activated by a separate push flag that is directly connected to the corresponding freeze protection valve. This ensures that water only enters the fitting when needed. The pedestal safety shower is equipped with a corrosion-resistant stainless steel bowl (Ø 28 cm) and an ABS plastic showerhead. The unique AXION® system was developed to avoid the weaknesses of conventional designs and ensure effective decontamination in accordance with EN 15154 and ANSI Z358.1.
The 8300FP AXION is designed for outdoor use and is ideal for chemical and petrochemical plants, refineries and heavy industry, metal processing and maintenance areas, as well as hazardous material storage and handling areas. Its highly visible design and robust components make it a long-term reliable solution wherever safety in cold conditions is required.
